The Opportunity

This is not a traditional construction role.

As a Construction Manager at NREMG, you will play a critical role in executing and enhancing real estate investments - overseeing renovation, redevelopment, and construction projects that directly impact asset performance and investor returns.

You will operate at the intersection of construction execution and investment strategy, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction and renovation projects from scope development through completion
• Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and timelines aligned with investment objectives
• Source, vet, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency
• Monitor project progress, track costs, and proactively address delays or issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to align construction with leasing, property management, and asset strategy
• Review plans, specifications, and bids to ensure cost-effective execution
• Maintain accurate reporting on project status, budgets, and timelines

• 5–10+ years of construction or renovation management experience
• Strong background in estimating, budgeting, and project execution
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple concurrent projects
• Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in both field and office environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
